Participating Organizations

Collaboration is the key to the success of the Pueblo Area Interfaith Hospitality Network. Presently, the Network receives support from fifteen faith-based organizations; nine of which are Hospitality or Host congregations, and the other six are Support congregations. Through this structure, members of many faiths come together for the common cause of providing shelter, meals and hospitality; these volunteers are the heart of the program. Their compassion and caring attitude has endured since the formation of the Hospitality Network.

The Hospitality Network collaborates, on a day-to-day basis, with agencies that provide necessary services to families who are homeless. These agencies include: Cooperative Care, Pueblo City County Health Department, Spanish Peaks Mental Health Center, Early Periodic Screening Diagnosis and Treatment (EPSDT), Pueblo School Districts 60 and 70, Crossroads Managed Care, Pueblo Housing Authority, Salvation Army, Catholic Charities, Department of Social Services, Pueblo Community Health Center, Children First, local Child Care Centers and the faith-based communities that are the foundation for the daily support of the Hospitality Network.

The continuing success of the hospitality Network revolves around the outstanding collaborative efforts by the PAIHN staff, its many dedicated volunteers and financial resources provided by individuals, businesses, civic and fraternal organizations, churches, foundations and the City and county of Pueblo.
